Amanda named Triple Threat Photography in the spirit of the

Reel Triple Threat short film company she started in 2012 for producing SAG New Media.

Three headed (TTT) in nature- the best Dreamshots are born out of :

• Capturing the Special Moment (composition) 

• Utilizing natural light and using enhancements to evoke the mood of the piece

• Conveying the interconnetedness - what the photograph is telling the audience

    My love of photography began when  my father gave me a Minolta with manual adjustments. After a bit of play, I decided to go through a course with a noted photography school and learn how to use the darkroom. After playing with the pan technique and some dodge and edit in the lab, I produced a shot of two fencers panned in a joust. It was on display in the Foy Fine Art Hall, Georgia Southern University until one day it went missing from the glass case. I don't know who liked it enough to take it from me but it was the day that I realized that since every photo tells a story; and being that I am a writer, I wanted to also tell stories with photographs.

  Capturing the moment is what I specialize in and the uniqueness of the Visuals is what I hope will bring you to work with me. You may also buy some visuals for digital use by visiting my store. Depending on the situation, some of the landscape/pastoral scenes can go together in a framed sequence. If you have any requests, please let me know. I am also available to chat for consultation and can work on any type of project. I would like to do more artistic landscape shots and will publish those over time.
